Ingredients
How to Make
Skin
- Place 160g of flour in a bowl.
- Add 40g of tapioca flour and 1dm of granulated sugar, then stir well.
- Gradually pour in 500ml of liquid milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Add 3 eggs and stir until well combined.
- Add 1 sachet of Air Mancur Herbal Pegal Linu.
- Stir again until the mixture is well combined.
- Add 30ml of cooking oil and stir until well combined.
- Strain the mixture to ensure a smooth, lump-free texture.
- Heat a frying pan, then pour the mixture in a thin layer.
- Cook until the bottom is cooked through, then remove from heat.
Repeat until all the mixture is used. Set the crepe skin aside.
- Filling
- Place 1 egg yolk in a bowl.
- Add the granulated sugar and whisk until combined.
- Add 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and stir well.
- In a separate saucepan, add the milk.
- Add 1 sachet of Air Mancur Herbal Pegal Linu to the milk.
- Heat while stirring continuously.
- Gradually pour the milk mixture into the egg yolk mixture while stirring continuously.
- Cook the mixture again until it thickens into a custard.
- Once cooked, let the custard cool.
- Prepare 100g of whipping cream and 200ml of water, then beat until fluffy.
- Add the cooled custard to the whipped cream.
- Stir until a smooth, even cream forms.
- Prepare 3 dates, remove the pits, and cut them into small pieces.
- Add the date pieces to the cream and stir well.
Serving:
- Place one crepe sheet as the base.
- Spread the herbal cream evenly on top.
- Add the next crepe sheet.
- Repeat the crepe → cream → crepes → cream process until all the layers are used.
- Spread the cream evenly over the top and sides of the cake.
- Top with cream, dates, and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
- Chill the cake first to set better.
